Branding and event programme design
The Mill Road Winter Fair is a great community event which attracts thousands of people each year to Mill Road, Cambridge’s mainly independent high street.
As a pro-bono project, Mono Industries designed a new identity for the fair as well as various pieces of print including programme front covers and posters.
The illustrations for the programme covers were drawn by Cambridge illustrator Sam Motherwell.
What the client said
The Mill Road Winter Fair has worked with Nick at Mono Industries to provide coherent, modern designs for all its advertising and promotional artwork over the last few years.
Originally Nick replaced the previous rather old-fashioned logo with a more modern interpretation, and since then he has provided consistent designs for brochures, banners, posters and publicity literature, often coming up with new designs only hours after we asked for them.
Thoroughly professional, he has also educated us to make sure we use the appropriate file formats. We owe him a great debt of gratitude. Nick has not only been creative, but he also listened to the committee members as to how they wanted the spirit of the fair to be translated into our visual communications.
