Digital Consultancy
Mono Industries has had a long-term relationship with the Greenbelt Festival – from being involved in producing the Festival’s artistic programme to consulting on digital strategy. In mid-2013, the Festival’s creative director asked us to write a Request For Proposal document that would enable them to appoint a new digital development company.
We undertook staff and stakeholder consultations and wrote a comprehensive RFP that many developers said they would go on to use as an example of best practice. Mono Industries facilitated the short-listing process and the meetings that finally led to Greenbelt appointing a new digital development company.
What the client said
In my role at Greenbelt Festival, over many years, I have worked with Nick on a number of different projects and in different capacities – paid and unpaid, both as a volunteer and on a consultancy basis.
Most recently, Nick managed a tricky digital transition project for us that was both critical to the organisation and involved a high degree of complexity. His approach was thorough and consistent. He helped us to see the wood for the trees. He shouldered the burden of getting it right. He saw things through from beginning to end. He consulted widely and distilled effectively.
The Request For Proposal document that he drew up on our behalf as part of this consultancy that we went public with (and which culminated in bringing us the new agency we now find ourselves working with on digital development), was a model of best practice – clear, concise and compelling. It was a work of art.
My experience is that when you work with Nick you have a safe pair of hands on your side. He brings a breadth of skills and experience to bear and he does that with a real heart and nuanced sensibility for the organisation he is serving.
