We met Carol via another project we worked on. We chatted briefly, arranged to meet for lunch (which is always a good start to any relationship), and immediately hit it off.

Re-designing Carol’s site was such a great project for Mono Industries because a] Carol was fully engaged with the project from start to finish (which is surprisingly rare these days), b] she had loads of great assets we could make use of and c] felt able to contribute valuable insights into how she felt the structure of the site should work.

The result? A friendly, asset-rich website and a long-term relationship with a hugely talented and inspiring client.

Mill Road Winter Fair

The Mill Road Winter Fair is a great community event which attracts thousands of people each year to Mill Road, Cambridge’s mainly independent high street.

As a pro-bono project, Mono Industries designed a new identity for the fair and is currently working on a new website.

Momentum Arts

Momentum Arts aims to advance the skills, knowledge and creativity of groups and individuals in East England. It does this through training, action-research and consultation.

A show by Austrian dancer Willi Dorner entitled ‘Mazy’, was a Momentum Arts promoted tour which took place in the Autumn of 2000. Mono Industries designed all the publicity for the tour and made use of some great photography which was supplied by the company.

The Being Here Now leaflet and subsequent brochure needed to fulfill two main criteria: to appeal to young people and to be as accessible as possible to people with disabilities. It scored on both counts and has even been used as an example of good accessibility practice.

Sigur Rós

Mono Industries was asked to design a web shop for Icelandic band Sigur Rós by their management company.

A simple and elegant design solution was required to work alongside the band’s evocative visuals. Great attention to detail was given to the layout and typography within the shop as it was felt that the usual online shopping experience would not be appropriate in this instance.

The shop was built by e-commerce merchandise experts Sandbag.

Loci Interiors
