They also required a new identity and website that was easy and quick to update, that would showcase all the different projects that they’re involved with.

A simple and elegant design solution was required to work alongside the band’s evocative visuals. Great attention to detail was given to the layout and typography within the shop as it was felt that the usual online shopping experience would not be appropriate in this instance.

The shop was built by e-commerce merchandise experts Sandbag.

They have over ten years’ experience in all fields of interior and exterior design. Their projects include hotels, bars, restaurants, golf clubs, banks, homes and gardens.

They asked Mono Industries to design an easily-updatable website that would act as a portfolio for the company.

The site was a complete retrospective which included all stages of the band’s career.

The company has a reputation within the industry for doing things a little differently and this needed to be communicated via the new site. The end product was a very smart but friendly site which utilised some great photography.

The solution was an integrated system that lets Adrian add, edit and delete site content from anywhere using the popular WordPress platform.

Having a background in advertising meant that Adrian had very strong ideas about what he wanted (and didn’t want), so it was important for us to listen rather than dictate what we thought he might want from his site.

Once the SEO logistics of such a proposal had been sorted, we set about working out a structure for the site.

The solution was somewhat unusual but it hit the right tone for the client who was, and still is, thrilled with it.

Mono Industries also built an easy-to-use content management system so that the 30 Bird team could add, edit and delete all their own content, including audio, music and film files.

Mono Industries was asked to brand the organisation, including designing postcards featuring an illustration by the Australian illustrator Michael Leunig. We also designed and built the company’s website which brought in new business almost immediately and has since had some great feedback.
